首届世界武道运动会落户北京 设13种项目
中广网北京2月24日消息 （记者王延辉）世界单项体育联合总会主席维尔布鲁根先生昨天（23日）访问北京，与北京市人民政府代表、北京市体育局局长孙康林签署备忘录，由北京市于明年9月承办首届世界武道运动会。大会共将设立包括4个奥运会项目在内的13种竞技格斗项目，且每个大项不设立级别差异，极具观赏性。
本届运动会将设立13个竞技格斗类项目，它们分别是武术、拳击、摔跤、柔道、跆拳道、空手道、合气道、剑道、搏击、泰拳、桑搏、相扑和柔术，其中的拳击、摔跤、柔道、跆拳道属于现代奥运会项目。比赛已确定将在2010年9月初举行，赛期6至8天。经国际单项体育联合总会考察，比赛场馆初定为国家体育馆、北京农业大学体育馆和北京科技大学体育馆，而北京大学生体育馆、北京航空航天大学体育馆则作为训练馆。赛事的参赛人数规模为1600人，即每个项目运动员和裁判员控制规定人数为120人，加上34位13个单项国际组织的官员，运动员参赛资格由各单项国际体育组织确定。据北京市体育局官员介绍，世界武道大会各项目不设立级别差异，这将使本来就很精彩的格斗类比赛更具观赏性。
