北京国际武术邀请赛的通知

尊敬的_＿＿＿先生、女士：
经中华人民共和国国务院批准。决定将每年的8月8日设为中国全民健身日，为此，北京武术院拟于8月8日举行4万人太极拳展示活动，这将创造一项新的吉尼斯世界纪录，为保证这一活动顺利举行，我院决定将拟于2009年8月10日至12日举行的第八届北京国际武术邀请赛予以取消，推迟到2010年举办，为此给大家带来的不便表示诚挚的歉意。
